Or known as the Blue Dragon Sea Slug or "that freakishly awesome thing that you can find in the ocean! ".
This was a commission for a very good friend of mine from high school. ^w^ She's absolutely thrilled with it (and squeed for 5 minutes straight when she first saw the dragons I made when I gave her these two. ).
I hope you guys like them too. They were a crazy challenge to make and pretty much had pushed a lot of the commissions back about a month around the holidays. >.<; I tried to make them as accurate as I could too.
I'm not too pleased with the tails, but they looked really weird with the addition at the end. @.@ Oh well, live and learn, no? :3

(These guys were only a tad over three inches long.)
For a while when I say these I was thinking they were some pieces or something. I just didn't think they were actual organisms. I never even heard of these sea slugs before, so just now as I am typing this I just checked google and I'm kind of surprise an animal of this appearance exist. They look like they are straight from a fantasy story, but then sea creatures had a tendency to look like that (that and insects). Just seeing it reminded me a bit why I became interested in non-human animals to begin with (one of the reasons that is). There common name also has a fantasy ring to it. That and it reminds me of a title of a series known as "Blue Dragon", but that is because at the moment I'm listening to the songs from the series. It's a good name for them as they kind of look dragon like in a way.
Anyway now that I know what what your amigurumi plushies are suppose to be I think you did a good job with them for the most part. I can see what you mean by the tails as they look kind of stubby compare to the actual tails, but it's close to what they look like.
I feel happy for going through your past entries now I have learn of an animals I have not known exist before. ^_^ When I find the time I'm going to learn more about them.
THANK YOU!! Thank you for posting what it's called!!! i have seen these amazing pictures, but no name on them!!! gyah!! drives me insane. so!! WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eh, the additions don't look that bad. really cute!
