Bun-Buns - Mora and Loraby *altearithe

Artisan Crafts / Dolls, Plushies & Custom Toys / Amigurumi

These two wee Bun-Buns were made just this week between my courses. :3
They're so tiny, as you can see from the comparison with the penny, and also named after a stuffed toy in Ouran High School Host Club, Bun-Bun. :3

As for their individual names, they just popped into my head.

Size-wise, they're around 3.5cm in height and around 4.5cm at their widest (ear to ear). That's under two inches. :3

So, my reasoning for the change in the previous bunnies I've made is that I was never pleased with the ears, the overall size, and the lack of limbs.

They looked so unfinished, it wasn't even funny. Then again, I was experimenting at that time.
I've always had a liking for flop-eared bunnies, so it was only a matter of time.

Anyway, these little ones will be sold around the time that Regal will be. (this is Regal here: [link] )

awww they remind me of my little babies, who are sadly staying away at the vet right now... I miss them dearly, but these made me smile. Seriously impressed by the felt flowers though... just WOW!

Well, they had their manhood taken away and then one was being naughty by licking at his wounds so they're now under surveillance by the vet, so they should be fine.

As for the felt, how did you manage to cut it out without making it all go bleh?! Whenever I try cutting felt it always ends up in a weird shape totally different to what I was looking for.

I think I did tiny snips instead of a swinging motion like I normally do when I cut paper into designs. ^^ It just takes a lot of trial and error though. @.@ You won't believe how many scraps of felt I have. >.<'
